Ranson Old Town Community Gardens attended the Ranson Festival and Car Show on Saturday, June 4th. It’s a great event and it gave us a chance to meet some new and old friends. Interestingly, there was a lot of interest in the bee pamphlets–a number of people wanted to discuss beekeeping and the life of bees in general.
We’re currently looking at installing a hive in the gardens. It presents a great educational opportunity for young and old alike and would help pollinate the gardens and surrounding area flowers.
If you’ve got any questions about bees or gardening, or, would just like to stop by and enjoy the gardens, please do. During the summer, there is always someone there from 10am-12 noon, Mon-Fri.
Come watch us grow!
